When we first read the script for Sunpat, we knew it was more than just another shoot. It was a love letter to the mountains — the people, the silence, the way time moves differently when you’re far from the city.

The Challenge

Filming in remote Uttarakhand came with its share of obstacles: unpredictable weather, tricky terrain, and a two-hour hike to the main location every morning. Our logistics team became mountain goats, hauling gear while the creative team planned shots on the move.

The Magic Moment

The shot that still gives us goosebumps happened on day four. The light broke through the clouds exactly as our lead character turned toward the camera. No lighting rigs, no post-production wizardry — just nature, perfectly timed.

Why It Matters

We believe that the soul of a story is often in the details you can’t control — the things that happen to you on set. Sunpat taught us that preparation is essential, but so is leaving room for the unexpected.
