ABSENT is a raw, unflinching coming-of-age drama from Team Flash, exploring the brutal power dynamics of school life and the fragile bonds that define our teenage years. Written & Directed by Rohan K. Mehta and an official selection at NFDC Film Bazaar Screenwriters’ Lab 2023, the film follows Shikar, a boy who has endured 13 years of isolation in school—until he meets Dave, a fearless new classmate who challenges the bullies and changes Shikar’s life forever. Together, they navigate loss, fractured families, and the universal fear of being alone.
